Rahul Bhatt pops wrong pills, falls sick

'Incorrect' medication led to a heart scare for the 30-year-old body builder, who had to be rushed to a nursing home
Rahul Bhatt, who shot to notoriety following revelations that David Headley had befriended him, recently had a health scare that led to him to being admitted to a nursing home in Juhu.
TOI has learnt that last week, the 30-year-old son of filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt was rushed for treatment after he complained of breathlessness.
A source said that the bodybuilder had taken a wrong dosage of multivitamins that triggered the breathlessness.
When contacted, Mahesh Bhatt was frank and forthcoming. “Rahul was quite breathless when he was wheeled in. Well, it looked like a heart scare. But eventually it turned out to be just a case of wrong medication. He was treated for a day and released the next day.”
When we got in touch with Rahul, he initially denied the incident saying he had visited the hospital for a “blood test.” But later said, “It was a very bad case of gastritis.”
We suggest he read the label on the bottle well before popping those pills.
